Preposition

PREPOSITION :-

  Preposition-- is made of two words-- Pre + position.

  ' Pre ' means ' before '. 

   It means --

   A Preposition is a word used before a noun, or a pronoun to show its relation with the other words of the sentence.
  

 e.g. :--

    * The book is on the table.

  
   In the above sentence the preposition 'on' has been used before the nouns 'table'. It shows its relation with 'table' as well as with 'book'.
